We see PLENTY of achilles tendonopathies here at BIA! Calf strength is key for treating these pesky injuries but ALSO great as a preventative! 🤩

In order to effectively strengthen the calf muscles we recommend you do straight knee and bent knee calf raises! This ensures you are targeting the two primary calf muscles, your gastrocnemius and soleus!

For proper strength training you need to have low reps with maximum resistance! To achieve this at home grab some dumbbells, a filled water container or children!! 😜 For strength training you should be too fatigued to do more than 8 reps per set 😅 ... See MoreSee Less
